This PEI Bridge App is made for travellers using the Confederation Bridge connecting mainland North America to Canada’s smallest province, Prince Edward Island.
The Confederation Bridge is the world's longest bridge over ice-covered waters (12.9 km/8miles) and takes a mere 10 minutes to cross at the posted speed limit of 80km/hr.
With the PEI Bridge App you will be able to access up-to-the-minute advisories on the traffic status of the bridge.
Advisories include:
“Green ” – traffic running smoothly
“Amber ” – caution advisory, partial closure
“Red ” – complete closure
